In this hands-on program, kids step into the world of game development using Roblox Studio, learning how real games are designed and built behind the scenes.
Using Lua coding, students move beyond basic gameplay and into the logic and scripting of game creation. This program is delivered in a development-only environment. Students work entirely within Roblox Studio, focusing on building, logic, and problem-solving, rather than playing or interacting in the public Roblox platform.

Our friendly and experienced staff will be waiting to greet you at camp. Look out for our Camp Manager in an orange Code Camp t-shirt, they’re also a qualified teacher and first aid trained. Once you’ve signed in your child, it’s time to say goodbye to let your kids make new friends and then embark on their coding adventure!
You can drop off between 9:00 and 9:30 am, and pick-up between 3:30 and 3:45pm. Extended hours are available at certain locations.

We kick off Roblox Studio Designers by helping your child dream up their very own experience in Roblox Studio.
Together we’ll brainstorm a theme, map out a world, and plan what players will do first. Once the plan is set, we jump into Roblox Studio to start building: shaping terrain, placing parts and models, and learning the core tools used by real Roblox creators. We’ll also introduce scripting fundamentals so their world can do something, with interactive elements and simple gameplay actions.

Day two is where the game starts to feel alive. Your child will level up their build with moving systems and “Tycoon-style” mechanics: droppers, conveyors, collection points, and upgrades players can unlock. We’ll focus on the ideas that make games engaging and re-playable, like challenges, rewards, and progression.
Along the way they’ll explore key coding concepts such as properties, variables, collisions, and loops, then use them to make their game work smoothly.

On the final day, we bring everything together so their game is ready to show off. Your child will add those finishing touches that turn a good project into a great one, like sound effects, on-screen text, clearer instructions, and extra decoration and detail.
We’ll playtest, refine, and then prepare their creations for sharing, including a friendly showcase and wrap-up that celebrates each child’s creativity, problem solving, and game design achievements.

Each day is divided into 1.5 - 2 hour sessions of fun, creative learning with three breaks for crunch & sip, recess and lunch so the kids can have outside play (weather allowing).
Drop-off is from 9:00-9:30 am and pick-up is 3:30-3:45pm. At selected venues we offer extend hours from 8:30 am until 5:00 pm - this availability will be visible at the booking page.
Roblox Legends requires students to bring their own laptop or tablet to camp each day. A keyboard and a mouse are strongly recommended if supplying a tablet.
We recommend bringing a hat, water bottle, sunscreen and a nut-free packed crunch and sip, recess, and lunch.
We have some of the best student-teacher ratios to ensure every child has a positive experience. Most of our classes are capped at 28 students with a 1:8 teacher-student ratio.
Most of our camps are suitable for absolute beginners. Ignite requires a basic understanding of drag & drop coding, while kids attending Blast 3D and Web Builders need to be proficient at line coding.
Our camps are well staffed and we do not have parents stay for the day. If there is a particular reason that you’d like to attend, please get in contact with us to discuss.
Whilst we do not run programs specifically designed to cater for students with special needs, our aim is to be as inclusive as possible. If your child attends a mainstream school and is comfortable in a classroom environment, they are welcome to attend. We will ask about their needs at enrolment. We are unable to provide 1:1 support, however if your child has a support worker they may attend with them. Please contact us to discuss your child’s individual needs.
If a child is within 3 months of the recommended age, for most of our programs it is up to the parent to determine if the child is capable. Our camps are structured for the specified age range and with 1:8 ratios, so one on one support for a younger child will not be available. Unless the child is displaying maturity levels and academic capabilities of an older child, we don’t recommend it however feel free to contact us at hello@codecamp.com.au to discuss what's suitable for your child.
When you enrol your child, you will receive a referral code which can be used to save $20 off your sibling booking.
